Kim Colin, S.E.C. Kim serves as President of Real Estate Investment Partners, Inc., a fee-based real estate investment consulting firm located in Portland, Oregon. She specializes in counseling clients in their real estate investment portfolio design and property acquisition/disposition decisions. As a former fee-only financial advisor, Kim brings a uniquely integrated investment perspective to her work. Kim is also an active principal in various real estate investment projects focused on high cash flow assets. Most counselors would agree that counseling could be described as a process—a series of information exchanges designed to allow the counselor to gain an understanding of the client’s objectives, resources, and mind-set so that the counselor may design solutions that combine the client’s resources with the counselor’s abilities and resources for the purpose of developing the desired transaction benefits for the client.
