Everyone Deserves to Be Counseled

The secretary came in to say that there was a man outside who obviously did not practice adequate personal hygiene and that he wanted to speak to a real estate agent or broker. She said she would not go back outside to relay an answer to him and that I would have to take care of it.
The man was the driver of a tallow truck, and he was picking up bones from a restaurant across the street. He was about 60 years old, and the secretary was correct; he was quite soiled, and his body odor was strong and most unpleasant.
I spent some time asking him questions to determine why he needed representation. It turned out that he owned the tallow removal business as well as two free and clear Exxon gas stations, both on long-term leases that he wanted to sell.
Like politicians, looks can be deceiving. Everyone deserves to be counseled.
And I bet this Hunter knew how to “pick them bones!” Cheers, ron
