The Ed Foundation is pleased to announce that we have arranged for excellent education opportunities through May 2014.

“Real Estate Tax Update,” presented by Dr. Mark Levine, will be held November 17, 2013, in San Francisco, California. Dr. Mark Lee Levine, BS, JD, PAP, Ph.D., LLM, is a full professor and has taught at the University of Denver since 1975. Dr. Levine is a Colorado real estate broker, appraiser, CCIM, attorney, published author, and speaker in the United States and abroad.

“Owner Financing—The Paper Course,” presented by Dana Barnes, S.E.C., will be held in San Antonio on January 19, 2014. Dana’s course will provide you with valuable information about buying, investing, and arranging owner financing.

“Surviving Crisis Communication: In the Media and at Public Meetings,” will be presented in Louisville, Kentucky, on March 16, 2014. Carolyn McClean and John Darr will ensure that participants get to – and stay on – message during any type of crisis.

“Developing the Developer as a Client,” will be presented in Portland, Oregon, on May 18, 2014. Chris Dischinger, S.E.C., and William E. Stonaker, S.E.C., CCIM, have created a course that you cannot afford to miss. Chris and Bill will teach you how to work with, counsel, and partner with developers to create and close transactions you may never have considered.

The Society, and the S.E.C. Education Foundation are constantly looking at potential new markets nationally to teach and create marketing opportunities. Our Foundation also assists with possible support for these in your area.
