Charlotte, North Carolina
9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Pete Mendenhall presents a course that provides a comprehensive understanding of Land Trusts as an alternative to other forms of title, ownership entities and asset protection. Pete uses extensive visuals during the presentation to help students understand the sometimes complex material, and provides detailed handouts that they can later use to guide them in their future evaluation of potential situations for the proper application of land trusts, as well as the subsequent set up and management of land trusts.
The class guides the student in understanding the strengths and weaknesses, benefits and drawbacks, of land trusts versus traditional deeds forms of ownership (i.e. LLC, LLP, Corporations, etc.), and their ramifications for asset management, asset protection, transaction management and asset protection. It provides detailed information on setting up and conducting typical real estate transactions using land trusts.
At the completion of this course, the student will understand when and under what circumstances they should consider using or recommending land trusts, how to go about setting them up and utilize them during the course of ownership.
