The tour includes the following sites:

  • Firelands Regional Medical Center, which continues to spur growth along the State Route 4 corridor.
  • Cedar Fair, parent company of Cedar Point will discuss opportunities they see in conjunction with their operation of twelve amusement parks, five outdoor water parks, one indoor water park, a family theme park, and “Star Trek: The Experience” (including those recently acquired in their recent $1.24 billion purchase of Paramount Parks); properties that stretch from the District of Columbia to California and Toronto, Ontario to Florida.
  • NASA Plum Brook Station, a 35-square-mile test facility that was recently selected for the Orion Space Project. They have conditionally identified 800 acres outside their fence for NASA-related development.
  • Kalahari Resort, which contains the largest indoor water park complex under one roof in the Midwest, which is currently under expansion, and is soon to be the largest in the United States.
  • Welcome Reception: The Sandusky Main Street Program and Waterfront Redevelopment, in the City of Sandusky, Erie County, briefing and welcome reception.
