The S.E.C. Education Committee is pleased to bring you four quality speakers to the Ft. Worth S.E.C. Meeting. They will be speaking on “Developing Passive Income” and covering four areas.

1. Notes and Mortgages: Wayne Palmer, Salt Lake City, Wayne has been licensed since 1976 and is the owner of National Note of Utah and Homeland Mortgage, Inc., He writes a column for the American Cash Flow Journal, and is a member of the Real Estate Educators of America. National Note is on pace to grow its note portfolio at the rate of $1M per month.

2. Tenant-In-Common: TIC’s – J. Kenneth Dunn is president of Rainier Capital. With 20 years of real estate and finance experience and $1 billion of real estate transactions, he saw the future of TIC’s. 2004 acquisitions totaled $200M.

3. Mineral Royalties: Corey Smith, Head of 1031 business development for Noble Royalties. Noble acquires and manages royalties for investors and has closed 47 acquisitions totaling $300M representing 35,000 wells on 3 million acres. In the last 8 months they have completed $50M of 1031 tax deferred transactions.

4. REIT’s: A speaker form Crescent Properties, Crescent specializes in office, resort hotel, residential development and climate controlled warehouses They employ 794 people and own $1.62B of real estate.

These speakers will take a macro economic look at their industry and discuss how we can interact with their industry on 1031 and non-1031 deals.
