The Readers’ Forum

The S.E.C Observer’s “Reader’s Forum” is the Society’s community bulletin board for our fellow exchangors and believers in the power of creative real estate.
We invite our readers to write to us about their experiences, creative ideas, transaction case studies, formulas in action, reflections on S.E.C. meetings and comments about each issue of The Observer….
Here are a few comments from our readers we thought you would enjoy…
Dear Editor:
The winter issue of the S.E.C. Observer is really excellent. I liked Phil Corso’s article, 15% = 100%. I have never had anyone explain that process so clearly. I have always known doing a project with 100% cost financing was a lot of work but I did not really understand what an easy concept it is.

Dear Editor:
I very much enjoyed Harry Kennerk’s article, “Books on the Counselor’s Nightstand.” I found the books to be an interesting insight as to what is motivating and important to some of the members.
I find it notable that the best and brightest are always striving to learn more and do better. For example, Chuck Sutherland strikes me as someone who knows exactly how to get things done, and could write a book on the topic, yet he has a copy of Getting Things Done on his nightstand.
