Amazing Success Stories – S.E.C. Education Programs

The S.E.C. Education Foundation continues to sponsor successful education programs throughout the nation.

Prior to the Society’s meeting in Las Vegas this past December, S.E.C. member Chet Allen taught his two-day “Big Money Brokerage and Development” program to a sold out audience at the Flamingo Hotel. Chet has taught this program to hundreds of real estate professionals over the years, and has been instrumental in the careers of many successful developers.

The Tampa S.E.C. Marketing meeting in January was preceded by a superb program on Real Estate Taxation taught by Peter Karl, a friend of the Society and one of the nation’s premier tax attorneys and CPA’s. Attended more than 25 S.E.C. members and guests, the tax implications of 1031 exchanges and other tax matters was a timely topic for all.

On January 28th and 29th, S.E.C. Instructors Mark Johnson and Phil Corso taught their “Broker Estate Building” program to 70 real estate professionals in Houston, Texas. Sponsored by the Houston Area CCIM chapter and the Bay Area Commercial Real Estate Network, the program received rave reviews from attendees. “Broker Estate Building” is currently scheduled for presentation in Austin, Texas in April of 2004.

The S.E.C. Education Foundation’s mission is to sponsor and support creative real estate programs for local, regional and national real estate organizations. Program offerings by S.E.C. Instructors can be found on the Foundations web site, www.secedfoundation.com.
