Welcome to the Winter 2003 issue of the S.E.C. Real Estate Observer, the e-publication of the Society of Exchange Counselors.

Just as it has for the past 42 years, the Society continues to lead the nation in creative real estate marketing. Our unique broker-to-broker marketing approach reflects our basic philosophy that “Real Estate is a People Business.” From the beginning, Service, Experience, and Counsel have always been the credo that drives our members to better serve their clients.

This issue of the S.E.C. Observer reflects that same philosophy. You will find articles, formulas, and ideas for doing business, narratives of transactions, and new concepts that will stimulate your own creativity and enhance your own productivity.

The Society, through its S.E.C. Education Foundation, has launched an ambitious long-range plan to provide educational programs that will reinvigorate the real estate community with creative marketing concepts. In this issue, you will find information about those programs.
